In Australia, a new Coca-Cola flavor that was created using artificial intelligence has now been introduced.
Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Y3000 has just arrived on our shores. It is a limited-edition, future-flavored variety. However, what that actually means is not clear.
The Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Y3000 is just one of the many new flavors that the Coca-Cola brand, a global cult drink, has released around the globe as part of the “Creations,” a campaign launched in 2022.
The brand has launched Coca-Cola Starlight in Australia and Coca-Cola Move overseas, both of which are inspired by music. However, the Australian version is influenced by technology, artificial intelligence, as well as by customer input.
Although the cans were only launched officially on Wednesday, keen-eyed Aussies had already noticed them on Woolworths’ shelves. They have been busy trying to guess the flavor.
TikTok user @kailairl posted a video in which she tries the drink but asks what “future flavor” even means.
“This is really interesting,” she said. “I’m getting blueberry and bubblegum flavours,” said she.
“It doesn’t taste like zero sugar at all. It tastes very fruity. “I love it.
She declared that she loved the new Coca-Cola, but she also said it was “a weird drink.”
Many social media users shared their guesses about the flavor.
One person said, “It tastes just like Bubble O’ Bill,” while another was enraged. “It is horrendous.”
Someone else said, “It has to be banana.”
One man said, “I don’t know why people hate it. It’s really good.”
Coca-Cola says the “Creations” flavors are designed to give customers “magical and unexpected moments.”
Livia DeSalvo, marketing manager at Coca-Cola Australia, said, “We wanted to create an innovative drink that combines Coca-Cola’s signature taste and the power of artificial Intelligence.”
“With the aid of AI-powered technologies, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar imagines what a Coca-Cola in the future will taste like and introduces innovative experiences to explore the future. The Coca-Cola you know and love is now enhanced with a new taste.
We can’t hold out for others to try it.
In order to create the flavor, the key themes and style preferences were input into an AI image creator to create a mood board that inspired the appearance of the product.
The future of flavors was also examined to see what the shoppers thought.
The can also has a QR Code that customers can scan in order to access the Creations Hub, where they can see what the future might look like with an AI Lens.
Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Y3000 is available at convenience stores and grocery shops across Australia until the stocks are depleted.
