Social media is awash with a Kmart product that a mother “swears” by. Many are eager to get it.
Ash, who is @KmartAsh in TikTok, shared her thoughts on the “can topper,” an interesting drinking tool that she had been eyeing for weeks.
The Kmartutensil is attached to the top can of soft drinks and looks like the top half of a bottle. The retail price is $3.50 for a 4-pack.
Ash was amazed by the robust design of a Coca-Cola can, given that she tried to “shake off this bad boy” but couldn’t.
She said, “It didn’t leak when I was drinking from it. How cool is that?”
She washed it by hand for the video but later put it in the dishwasher to test its durability. It passed without any problems.
Ash said she would not buy anything that “wasn’t dishwasher safe.”
The little gadget was a hit on social media. One user revealed: “We swear these in our home with kids!” They are fantastic.”
One person said that it would be a “great” and cost-effective way to keep the drinks safe when nightclubbing.
I literally wore it all night when I went camping, and the fizz was still there in the morning. Sooooooo good!!! Another social media user commented, “So easy to wear and remove too.”
Some have warned that the product could suffer from negative effects.
If your drink fizzes up while the lid is on, it will fly across the room. “I know from experience,” a social media user commented.
Another user advised not to leave bottle caps on in a warm car.
They said, “The bang was loud.”
